Hajj 2027 from Somalia: how to register
Last updated:
Short answer
To perform Hajj in 2027 from Somalia, you register through a Hajj service company authorised by the Ministry of Endowment and Islamic Affairs, handing in your passport with an advance payment of $2,000. The official package price has not been announced yet.
Who organises Hajj from Somalia
Hajj from Somalia is organised by the Ministry of Endowment and Islamic Affairs. The Ministry receives the pilgrim quota that Saudi Arabia allocates to Somalia, and it arranges accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, transport inside the Kingdom, the tents at Mina and Arafat, and catering.
On 4 August 2026 the Ministry published the rules for Hajj 1448 AH (2027). Pilgrims must register through companies it has authorised, and those companies enter each pilgrim's details on the Ministry's electronic registration platform. The Ministry warned the public not to deal with any person or company operating without its authorisation.
What Hoggaan Travels does
Hoggaan Travels is registered with the Ministry as a Hajj and Umrah provider. In Somalia we guide you through registration, check your documents, and prepare and submit your file to the Ministry. In Saudi Arabia we accompany your group as your guide through the days of Hajj.
Every sum you pay us for Hajj is passed to the Ministry. We do not hold your Hajj money and we take no margin from it.
The steps
- Contact a Hajj service company authorised by the Ministry.
- Hand in your passport and a personal photo.
- Pay the advance of $2,000.
- The company enters your details on the Ministry's electronic platform and submits your file.
- Your place is confirmed when the Ministry allocates it from Somalia's quota.
- The remaining amount is set once the official price is announced.
The price of Hajj 2027

- Ziyarah in Madinah
- Transport

Places with Hoggaan for 2027
Hoggaan's places for Hajj 2027 are full at the moment. Places occasionally become available, so you can join our waitlist by messaging us on WhatsApp.
If you cancel
Because Hajj payments are held by the Ministry, a refund is made by the Ministry, on its terms and timing, and a service fee may be deducted. We submit your cancellation, follow it up, and pass on to you in full whatever the Ministry releases, with a statement of anything deducted.
Health and fitness
Hajj is physically demanding: long walks, long periods of standing, dense crowds and high heat. Check with your doctor that you are fit before you register, and tell us about any medical condition or mobility need so we can prepare. We strongly recommend travel and medical insurance.
